Thumy Takes a Bite Out of Jetten

Clement Thumy opened for 32,000 from under-the-gun, Sandra Naujoks called from middle position and Peter Jetten called from the big blind.

Jetten checked the {7-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop over to Thumy, who bet 75,000. Naujoks folded and Jetten called. The turn came the {A-Diamonds} and Jetten checked again. Thumy bet 105,000 and Jetten called. Both players checked the {9-Spades} on the river.

Thumy showed {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} and Jetten mucked. Thumy is up to 920,000 while Jetten is down to 535,000.

Konstantin Bucherl opened for a raise and Thomas Pettersson tanked for so long we were sure someone would call the clock. After several minutes, he slid in a reraise to 113,000 and Bucherl called.

The flop was {J-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} and Pettersson's remaining 31,000 went into the pot. Bucherl called.

Pettersson {A-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}
Bucherl {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs}

The turn was the {4-Hearts}, the river was the {9-Spades} and Pettersson hit the rail in 20th place while Bucherl increased his stack to 390,000.

Don't Let Her Leave

Marc Inizan mini-raised to 36,000 and Sandra Najuoks raised all in for 120,000 total. Inizan didn't like it, but he shook his head and slid in the calling chips to put Naujoks at risk.

Showdown
Inizan: {K-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds}
Naujoks: {A-Hearts} {K-Spades}

Things were just fine for Naujoks on a board of {2-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds} {A-Clubs} {3-Spades} {A-Diamonds}, and she's found a double up to 264,000. We'd like to thank Mr. Inizan for letting her stick around for a while, though he certainly would have preferred to get rid of the crafty German pro.

Noah Boeken Eliminated in 21st Place ($21,665)

Noah Boeken, 21st place

Under the gun, Noah Boeken made a minimum raise to 24,000. Peter Jetten reraised to 70,000 from the small blind, and Boeken couldn't decide what to do. After several minutes of tossing it back and forth, he moved all in for 126,000 total, and Jetten quickly called.

Boeken: {A-Spades} {Q-Diamonds}
Jetten: {A-Clubs} {K-Hearts}

Boeken let out a big sigh of disgust as he stood from his chair, and the dealer would do nothing to improve his plight. The board ran out {J-Spades} {4-Hearts} {7-Hearts} {8-Diamonds} {2-Spades}, and Boeken has been eliminated.
