Stein Doubles Through Jetten

Following a {6-Clubs}{J-Spades}{K-Clubs} flop, Peter Jetten bet 20,000, Sam Stein raised to 53,000, Jetten repotted to 196,000, and Stein called. When Stein called on the end, he thought doing so would put himself all in, but in fact he still had 20,000 behind.

The turn then brought the {6-Spades} and Jetten went ahead and put Stein all in. Cards on their backs...

Jetten {A-Spades}{K-Spades}
Stein {K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}

Top pair for Jetten, but two pair for Stein. The river was the {2-Clubs}, and Stein moves up to 465,000. Jetten falls to 400,000.

Bad Times in the BB for BB

Burt Boutin
Burt Boutin

Sandra Naujoks raised to 16,500 from early position, and the table folded around to Burt Boutin in the big blind who made the call.

The flop came {A-Spades}{J-Clubs}{10-Hearts}. Boutin checked, Naujoks bet 15,000, and Boutin called.

The turn brought the {8-Clubs} and a bet of 45,000 from Boutin. Naujoks reraised with her remaining chips, and Boutin -- covered by Naujoks called.

Boutin {K-Spades}{J-Spades}
Naujoks {K-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}

Tough spot for Boutin, hoping for a chop at best with one card to come. The river was the {4-Clubs}, and he is out. Naujoks now has 188,000.
