Marafioti Finds His Double

Matt Marafioti raised to 36,000 preflop, and John Dwyer reraised the pot to 96,000 total. Marafioti had just 121,000 chips to start the hand, and he got them all in there with {A-Spades} {J-Clubs}. He was in good shape to double as Dwyer called him down with {A-Clubs} {4-Diamonds}.

Marafioti was visibly nervous as he stood behind his chair and reacted to every card on a safe board of {8-Clubs} {8-Diamonds} {K-Spades} {6-Clubs} {3-Diamonds}. With a little fist pump, Marafioti has earned an early double up to 242,000.

Dwyer is now dangerously short with just 45,000.
