Schneider, Doft Day Is Done

Mickey Doft bites the dust alongside Tom Schneider
Mickey Doft bites the dust alongside Tom Schneider

Kristan Lord completed for 1,500 only to have Mickey Doft bump it up before Tom Schneider called only to have Matt Grapenthien make it 4,500 to go. Lord passed, and Doft made it 6,000 to go with Schneider calling only to have Grapenthien cap it at 7,500 with both Doft and Schneider calling.

When fourth street arrived, Schneider checked and Grapenthien fired out 1,500 with Doft committing his last 1,100 and Schneider making the call to see Schneider call a bet on fifth before calling all in on sixth with the following boards being shown.

Doft: {3-}{2-} / {6-}{6-}{Q-}{8-}
Schneider: {A-}{6-} / {8-}{2-}{J-}{A-}
Grapenthien: {4-}{3-} / {5-}{8-}{10-}{8-}

Grapenthien flipped over his {9-} to improve to a nine-eight as Schneider folded his hand after not improving on seventh.

With Doft needing to find an ace, four, five or a seven to stay alive, he slowly squeezed out his card, but could only manage to find a {3-} to find himself sent to the rail alongside Schneider as Grapenthien climbs to 40,000 in chips.
