Hellmuth Wins a Pot and Gets Needled by Matusow

Phil Hellmuth
Phil Hellmuth

Phil Hellmuth just got moved to Mike Matusow's table a few moments ago and limped in during this hand from middle position. Another player limped behind him and both blinds were in as well. The flop came down {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and the big blind fired 1,500 after the small blind checked. Hellmuth made the call and the the player after him folded along with the small blind.

The turn was the {6-Clubs} and both players checked. The river completed the board with the {Q-Spades} and the big blind checked. Hellmuth fired out 2,000 and he was called.

Hellmuth tabled the {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} and his opponent mucked.

Matusow grabbed Hellmuth's card and held them while yelling out, "First f***ing hand your dealt you get the best starting hand, ace, ace, king, deuce doubled suited and you play it like a world class champ, you limp in!"
