Chen Falls Short

Hubert Chen was all in pre-flop and called by Michael Jacobs. Chen had a two-way hand with {a-Spades}{3-Spades}{j-Clubs}{9-Spades} but Jacobs turned over four well-connected cards, {k-Spades}{j-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{9-Hearts}. Chen let out a noise of disgust and concern when the flop came {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}{8-Diamonds} to give Jacobs' hand some drawing power. Jacobs filled a queen-high straight with the {9-Clubs} turn and sent Chen out of the tournament, just short of the money, when the {5-Clubs} fell on the river.
