Stephen Tanner Eliminated in 18th Place ($9,433)

Joel Ettedgi opened the pot for 25,000 and was re-raised by Ryan Karp to 80,000. Stephen Tanner had only 82,000 left in his stack and put it at risk. Ettedgi and Karp both called. Ettedgi then moved all in himself on a flop of {q-Clubs} {k-Spades} {6-Hearts}. That was enough to fold Karp. Ettedgi tabled {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{7-Spades}, a pair of kings, against Tanner's {a-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}. Tanner made a pair of eights with the turn {8-Spades} but didn't improve on the river. The {j-Spades} eliminated him from the tournament in 18th place.
