Floor Called, Caramatti Doubles, Brenes Slips

"Next time you call the floor my shark will eat you!"
"Next time you call the floor my shark will eat you!"

With Niccolo Caramatti in the process of moving all in for his last 137,000, Humberto Brenes announced, "if you move all in, I call!"

The Tournament Director was called over to ask if that statement from Brenes was binding or not.

After discussing the exact details of the hand, it was ruled that Brenes was bound to a call and didn't put up much of a fight.

Caramatti: {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}
Brenes: {8-Hearts}{7-Clubs}

The board ran out {2-Hearts}{K-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{K-Hearts} to see Caramatti double to 305,000 through his Broadway straight as Brenes slipped to 480,000 in chips.

Craig Bergeron opened for a raise under the gun and James Schaaf three-bet from the small blind. Bergeron moved all in and Schaaf made the call to put Bergeron at risk.

Bergeron: {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}
Schaaf: {A-Spades}{10-Hearts}

The board ran out {K-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{5-Spades} to see Bergeron double through to 690,000 as Schaaf slips to 565,000 in chips.

Monster Fade for Gustavson, Siegal and Vaccarello Eliminated

Michael Vaccarello; one of the casualties
Michael Vaccarello; one of the casualties

Michael Vaccarello began cutting out a raise only to have the dealer call a string-bet.

Eventually the decision was that Vaccarello would be bound to a min-raise since the first amount of chips that he cut out was 25,000 therefore meaning he would be bound to a raise ahead of a call.

With the action on Aaron Gustavson, he tossed in three green 75,000-denomination chips only to have David Siegal move all in for 183,000 from the cutoff.

Vaccarello followed suit moving all in for 235,000 as Gustavson double-fist-pump-snap called!

Vaccarello: {J-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}
Siegal: {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}
Gustavson: {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}

The flop fell down {Q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{10-Hearts} to keep Gustavson in the lead but leave him having to fade any king, jack, nine or heart to eliminate both players.

The turn dropped the {8-Spades} to change little, and after the {2-Spades} landed on the river, Gustavson faded the monster sweat to eliminate two opponents and climb to 1,040,000 in chips.

Top Set for Rosskamm

Andrew Rosskamm opened to 50,000 from under the gun and Aaron Gustavson made the call.

The flop fell down {A-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and Rosskamm fired out 60,000 to eventually prompt a fold from Gustavson.

Rosskamm flashed his {A-Spades}{A-Clubs} for top set and collected the pot to move to 840,000 as Gustavson slips to 550,000 in chips.
