Kitai Plays It Safe

Davidi Kitai raised to 550 preflop, and Dan Heimiller called from the small blind. The flop fell {k-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Spades}, and Heimiller bet out 900. Kitai called to see the {6-Diamonds} on the turn. Both players checked, and when the {4-Clubs} fell on the river, it was check-check once again. Heimiller's {q-Spades}{9-Spades} for a missed flush draw wasn't going to do it, and Kitai took it down with {k-}{8-} for a pair of kings. He's up to 13,000, and Heimiller has 11,000.
