It's Day 2!

Welcome back to PokerNews' coverage of the 2010 World Series of Poker. If you were just clicking away on the home page, you've stumbled across Day 2 of Event #42: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em. Yesterday, 2,521 players took to the felt to compete for the coveted gold bracelet. Those players generated a prize pool of $604,222, so the 277 players that remained at the end of the night have that to look forward to as well. Yes, 277 players will come back today, but seven of them will leave this tournament empty handed, as the final 270 will make the money.

Leading the pack coming into the day is Jackson Zheng with 151,000. Humberto Brenes is right behind him with 146,400. Carter Phillips is looking to make history if he can outlast this field. He would become the youngest player to ever win two bracelets in the same year, but he does have his work cut out for him. He comes into the day with a stack of 122,100. And rounding out the top ten chip counts is Arnaud Mattern with 107,500.
