Marafioti Chipping Up On The Bubble

The player in the small blind raised and Matt Marafioti defended his big blind. The flop came down {2-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} and the player in the small blind bet 8,000.

Marafioti deliberately counted out his stack and after about 90 seconds announced he was all in. He had a bit more than his opponent and after about another minute, the player in the small blind called all in for about 25,000.

Marafioti's {K-Spades}{J-Spades} led his opponent's {Q-Hearts}{J-Clubs} and held up safely as the {9-Diamonds} turn card and {5-Clubs} river card fell.

That hand boosted Marafioti's stack to about 65,000.
