Wong Bumped By Phillips

On a flop of {8-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{7-Clubs} the action was checked to Carter Phillips who opted to fire out a bet of 15,000 with only Jerry Wong coming along.

When the turn landed the {4-Hearts} Wong led out for 30,000 and Phillips smooth-called to see the {10-Spades} land on the river.

Wong moved all in for his last 130,200 and Phillips went deep into the tank before eventually making the call.

Wong tabled his {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for middle-pair, but it would be Phillips' {K-Clubs}{Q-Spades} for top-pair that would be enough to see him collect the pot and move to 520,000 as Wong made his way to the rail.
