Boat Saves Billirakis

Stud-8

Steve Billirakis: (X-X) / {10-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{q-Clubs} / (X)
Marco Johnson: (X-X) / {8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{6-Spades}{10-Spades} / (X)
John Hennigan: (X-X) / {3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} / (X)

We caught up with the action on fourth, when Johnson led with a bet, and Hennigan and Billirakis both called. Johnson bet again on fifth, and Hennigan raised. Billirakis three-bet, and the other two called. Billirakis moved all in with his last few thousand on the next street, and Johnson called. Hennigan raised it to a full bet, and Johnson called that as well. He check-called one last bet on the side, and it was time for a complicated showdown. Billirakis showed {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}, and queens full of tens was good for the high half of the main pot. Hennigan's {3-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} gave him the low of the main and side pots, and Johnson had made a straight to take half of the side pot.

The end result left Billirakis with 200,000, Hennigan with 200,000, and Johnson with 560,000.
