Double-Double for Katchalov

Stud-8

Eugene Katchalov completed all in for 110,000, and Ian Gordon called him. The boards ran out:

Katchalov: {5-Clubs}{3-Hearts} / {2-Spades}{a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} / {q-Clubs}
Gordon: {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades} / {7-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{9-Spades}{9-Diamonds} / {3-Diamonds}

Gordon was ahead with a pair of nines until Katchalov caught a queen on seventh to double up to 310,000.

"F^*k!" said Ashby, not caring that Katchalov was less than a foot away.

Hold'em

Katchalov doubled once again the next hand. He raised the small blind, Gordon three-bet from the big blind, and Katchalov called all in. Eugene held {k-Spades}{4-Hearts} and had to dodge Gordon's {10-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}. The board fell {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}, and trip fours put Katchalov up to 650,000.
