Rosen Rises to Top, 20 Remain

Jamie Rosen
Jamie Rosen

No-Limit

Well, that was quite a half-hour of no-limit poker, with no less than seven eliminations, including some big stacks.

The seventh came in one of the last hands of the no-limit hold'em portion of Level 15. Jamie Rosen opened for 9,500 from UTG, and it folded around to Renaud Desferet in the small blind who reraised to 28,000. The big blind got out, then Rosen made it 63,000 to go. Desferet pushed all in for 115,000 total, and Rosen called.

Desferet {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}
Rosen {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

Another race. But after the flop -- {10-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs} -- Rosen had left Desferet well behind. The {2-Diamonds} turn sealed it, and Desfert is out in 21st.

With 20 players left, Rosen now takes the chip lead with 440,000.
