John Cernuto Eliminated in 12th Place ($23,318)

John Cernuto - 12th place
John Cernuto - 12th place

There wasn't anything John Cernuto could do about a very bad situation. On a flop of {k-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{q-Hearts}, he check-raised all in after David Ulliott bet 48,000. Ulliott quickly called with {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{10-Spades}{k-Hearts}, middle set. That was bad news for Cernuto, who turned over bottom set and a flush draw with {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}{6-Hearts}{3-Hearts}. Cernuto would need running low cards or a non-pairing heart to remain in the tourament. He caught a heart on the turn with the {j-Hearts}, but Ulliott still had a draw off his own. He binked it when the river came {q-Clubs} to give him quad queens, drawing a pained "oooooo!" from Cernuto.

Cernuto finished in 12th place and will receive $23,318.
