Back-to-Back Hands Send Sebok Home

A player in Seat 4 raised to 600 in late position and Joe Sebok moved all in from the big blind. Seat 4 only had 2,425 total and made the call for his tournament life.

Sebok: {A-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
Seat 4: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}

The board ran out {Q-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{K-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{2-Spades}, giving Seat 4 the double up and crippling Sebok, who was left with just 1,425.

The very next hand, the player in Seat 3 raised to 550 and Sebok moved all in. Seat 3 called and showed {J-Hearts}{10-Hearts} which was dominated by Sebok's {Q-Spades}{J-Diamonds}.

When the flop came {6-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}, Sebok threw up his hands in frustration and said, "Nice hand." Even before the {6-Hearts} appeared on the turn, Sebok was out of his seat gathering his things. The {3-Spades} on the river made it official, Sebok is out of the tournament.

Amnon Outta Here

The player in Seat 3 raised to 525 and Amnon Filippi moved all in for around 2,400. The player in the small blind then moved all in over the top, prompting Seat 3 to fold.

Filippi: {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Small Blind: {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}

Filippi was in the lead but not for long. The flop came down {2-Hearts}{J-Spades}{K-Spades}, giving the small blind top pair. The {5-Spades} on the turn was no help to Filippi and he was down to just the river. The dealer burned and put up the {9-Diamonds} and with that, Filippi's day came to an end.

Massage Power?

Is there something about the power of a good massage during the tournament that allows the pros to do better? It seems in every event a number of pros take advantage of the massage therapists, often ordering a massage that lasts well over an hour.

Right now there are two notable pros who are enjoying a massage . . . Lee Markholt and JC Tran. Both seemed relaxed and in the zone. Lucky for the massage therapists, they'll be able to give their hands a rest as the dinner break is right around the corner.

Showdown

Opponent: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}

The board ran out {7-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{k-Hearts}{j-Hearts} and Lindley is out of the tournament right before the dinner break.

He's Gotta Call, He's Jeff Madsen

Small Blind: {J-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}

The board ran out {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} and Madsen doubled up his opponent, leaving himself with about 13,200.

Eric Baldwin and the Cowboys

Eric Baldwin
Eric Baldwin

This could be a song tittle, but it's just what happened in the last hand Eric Baldwin played.

With the board spread {4-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} Baldwin check-raised all in after the player in the cutoff fired a bet. He was called and tabled a pair of kings. His opponent showed {10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} and without help from the {5-Hearts} on the river, Baldwin is now up to 17,000 chips.
