Jeffrey Chu opened with a raise from the cutoff, and Sergey Chernykh -- our chip leader entering Day 2 -- called from the big blind. The flop came . Chernykh checked, Chu put in a continuation bet, and after a bit of thought Chernykh called.
The turn was the , and Chernykh checked quickly. Chu took about a minute, then checked behind. Both also checked the river.
Chernykh turned over . Chu then tabled for the best hand, and Chernykh nodded in recognition that he might've bet Chu out there at the end.
Chernykh still has one of the biggest stacks with 64,500, while Chu now is up to 27,500.
We've already seen more than 50 players hit the rail here in the first half-hour or so of play today.
One was John Harris. Down below 2,500, Harris was all in with but unfortunately ran into Christian Larsen's [Qh. The board came , and Harris hit the rail. Larsen, meanwhile, sits with 22,000 -- just a little over average at the moment.
Jose Basa and Mikhail Petrov ended up all in pre-flop. Basa tabled pocket sevens and Petrov , the famous suited connectors.

With the board showing , Jason Aaron Mann bet 5,200 into a pot of about 15,000, then Can Kim Hua raised all in. Mann -- whom Hua had only barely covered -- quickly called with the rest of his chips.
Mann showed for a set of eights, while Hua turned over for two pair. The river was the , and Mann doubled to 44,000. Hua, meanwhile, is now down to just 1,200.
Short stack Gerald Murphy moved all in for about 4,200 chips and was called by Laura Tribble on the button and by the big blind, Jonathan Markham.
The board was checked until the river. Tribble tabled pocket tens and took the pot.
Murphy is out of the tournament and Markham slipped to 47,000 chips and Tribble is now up to 26,000.
We began today with four members of Team PokerStars. Chris Moneymaker (U.S.) started with an above-average stack, but has already hit the rail in the early going.
Richard Toth (Hungary) has been chipping up and now sits with 46,000. And Andre Akkari (Brazil) has also been adding to his stack here at the start, moving up to 36,000.
The fourth PS pro here is Jude Ainsworth of Ireland. He's been aggressive at his table from the start today, and has nearly doubled his starting stack to 54,000.
Dieter Stoeffler and Kyle Carlston ended up all in pre-flop. Stoeffler tabled and Carlston showed pocket nines.
The board gave Stoeffler all the help he needed and is now up to 15,000 chips. Carlston slipped to 26,000.
