Would-a Could-a Should-a

Jeffrey Chu opened with a raise from the cutoff, and Sergey Chernykh -- our chip leader entering Day 2 -- called from the big blind. The flop came {K-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}. Chernykh checked, Chu put in a continuation bet, and after a bit of thought Chernykh called.

The turn was the {7-Spades}, and Chernykh checked quickly. Chu took about a minute, then checked behind. Both also checked the {J-Clubs} river.

Chernykh turned over {A-Spades}{8-Hearts}. Chu then tabled {5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} for the best hand, and Chernykh nodded in recognition that he might've bet Chu out there at the end.

Chernykh still has one of the biggest stacks with 64,500, while Chu now is up to 27,500.
