Carlston Exits

We just wrote a post about Kyle Carlston getting crippled by Alan Snow. After doubling up he found himself in the big blind calling a preflop raise to 22,000 from Wenlong Jin.

The flop came {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{2-Spades} and Carlston went all in for his last 40,000 with Jin calling.

Carlston: {k-Clubs}{5-Spades}
Jin: {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}

Carlston had to have loved the situation he was in. However when the {10-Clubs} came on the turn, Jin picked up a gut-shot straight-draw in addition to his overcard.

The {j-Clubs} on the river gave Jin his straight and served as a brutal blow to Carlston who has been eliminated.
