White Keeps Climbing

Adam White has gained a a chip lead of close to 1,000,000 on his nearest competitor. In this last hand Justin Young raised to 28,000 in early position and White called from the button with Allan Baekke coming along from the big blind.

The flop came {k-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{5-Spades} and Baekke checked to Young, who bet 53,000. White called, and Baekke folded.

The turn was the {10-Diamonds} and Young checked to White, who bet 75,000 with Young making the call.

We got to see the {8-Clubs} on the river and Young once again checked to White, who bet 125,000. Young tanked for a while and eventually called.

White showed {k-Spades}{10-Spades} for two pair, which led Young to say, "I talked myself into the worst call ever."

White is now up to 1,640,000 while Young has fallen to 215,000.
