Hoang Halted

Cuu Hoang opened to 34,000 only to have Benjamin Smith make it 104,000 to go. Hoang then moved all in for an additional 139,000 more, and after going into the tank for over a minute, Smith made the call.

Hoang: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}
Smith: {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}

The board ran out {9-Clubs}{4-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} to see Hoang exit and Smith climb to 550,000 in chips.

Ahmadian Eliminated

They're dropping like lemmings on a tightrope at the moment, the latest person accepting money at the cashier with a look of woe being Elia Ahmadian. He found himself all in with {7-Hearts}{7-Spades} versus the {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades} of Nadav Benjosef but was unable to hold on a subsequent {4-Hearts}{6-Spades}{8-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} board.

Benjosef is back up to 170,000 after suffering some earlier setbacks.

Huge Folds From Prendiville and Spinks

Sean Prendiville opened to 24,000 from under the gun, and both Jonathan Spinks and Michael Linn made the call.

The flop fell down {9-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} to see Linn check from the big blind as Prendiville fired out 45,000. Spinks made the call before Linn check-raised to 150,000 total.

Prendiville took his time before folding what he said was {10-}{10-}, while Spinks took his time too, eventually flashing his {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} before tossing them into the muck.

As Linn raked in the pot he stated that he held {7-}{7-} while moving to 740,000 as Prendiville and Spinks both slipped to 580,000 and 520,000 respectively.

End of the Night for Copperthite

After slogging his guts out for the last two days, Arthur Copperthite's tournament has come to an abrupt and unfortunate end courtesy of chip leader Mihai Manole. With Copperthite raising it up to 23,000 from early position, Manole made it 73,000 from the button. Copperthite shoved for 250,000, only to be snap-called by Manole who held {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}. Copperthite had slipped down a Manole with {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}.

Despite changing his religion to poker and praying to the Poker Gods with all the will he could muster, his pleas fell on stony ground, the board coming a bleak {Q-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{3-Spades}{4-Spades} to desaddle the cowboys and send Copperthite home.

Meanwhile, Manole has extended his chip lead to a whopping 950,000.

Hoang Not Happy

Cuu Hoang and Clint Coffee reached a {7-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{4-Spades} flop where Coffee check-raised Hoang's lead of 40,000 all in. Hoang made the fold, but punched the table with his fist in a fit of anger upon being shown {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}. Nevertheless, both players are still in with 38 players left, both with around 250,000 left.
