Benjamin Eilers Eliminated in 14th Place ($27,464)

Benjamin Eilers
Benjamin Eilers

Although Erle Mankin was the eventual assassin with {K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} versus {Q-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} on an ensuing {8-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{8-Clubs}{5-Clubs} board, Eilers only had 28,000 at the time, and it was actually Joel Bidnick who took the meat of his stack the hand previous.

Holding {A-Spades}{3-Hearts} versus {A-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}, Eilers had firms hopes of a split pot, but they were soon dashed as the board came {J-Spades}{A-Clubs}{7-Spades}{6-Clubs}{10-Clubs} to decimate his stack.
