Larkin Slips Through a Manole

Mihai Manole

Proving himself not as invincible as initially thought, Taylor Larkin has dropped down to 4,180,000 after doubling through crowd favorite Mahai Manole.

It was actually Michael Linn who got the ball rolling, his raise to 150,000 from under the gun flat called by Larkin in the small blind. The action halted on Manole who, after a brief pause, announced all-in. Linn folded, but Larkin called quicker than Concorde.

Manole: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Larkin: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}

The crowd erupted like Mount Vesuvius as a third 10 hit the {10-Spades}{6-Clubs}{8-Spades} flop. No change on the {A-Diamonds} turn and {6-Spades} river and the Romanian doubled through to 2,800,000.
