Crazy PLO Action Only Minutes Away

Dealers are setting up the chip stacks for this afternoon's start of the $5,000 Pot-Limit Omaha event, and the players can't wait to take their seats and get started shouting "Pot!", "Repot!" "Rerepot!" This event is always one of the most high octane gamblefests of the year, and we're sure today will be no different.

Last year, Richard Austin outlasted 362 opponents to win $409,484 and a coveted WSOP bracelet. He defeated Canadian superstar Sorel Mizzi heads up after surviving a terrifying final table that included Cliff "JohnnyBax" Josephy, Felipe Ramos, Van Marcus, and Peter Jetten. Who will get a shot at the final table felt this year? Join us over the next three days, and we'll find out together.

Action should be underway in a few minutes. They'll play eight levels today with 20-minute breaks after the first two and before the last two and a 60-minute dinner break in the middle. Players start with 3,000 in tournament chips and three add-on chips worth 4,000 each. They may choose to use them all at the beginning and sit down with a full 15,000-chip stack, or they can cash them in at any point during the first four levels. Any they haven't used by the dinner break will automatically be added to their stacks then.
