Maal Makes Two Pair

On the button, Brian Aleksa made it two bets to go. Sijbrand Maal made the call and the two were on to a flop of {k-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{6-Spades}.

Mall check-called Aleksa's bet and the turn brought the {6-Clubs}. Both players checked to the river, {a-Clubs}.

Again, both players checked. Maal showed {2-Hearts}{2-Spades} for two pair to take the pot.

Winner: Mcgowan Moves On

Joseph Mcgowan's off to the final table.
Joseph Mcgowan's off to the final table.

Robert Beveridge's uphill fight has come to an end at Table 315.

In the second to last hand, Beveridge bet every street as the board ran {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}{j-Spades}{5-Spades}{5-Hearts}. Mcgowan called each time.

Beveridge tabled {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds} and Mcgowan almost mucked his hand before finally realizing he rivered trip fives with {q-Clubs}{5-Clubs}.

"I would have raised had I known," Mcgowan chuckled.

The next hand all the bets were in preflop and Mcgowan was ahead with {k-Clubs}{7-Hearts} against Beveridge's {8-}{6-}. The flop was seven-high, and the turn and river both blanked sending Beveridge home.

With the win, Mcgowan locks up a minimum of $12,961 and a seat at tomorrow's final table.

Chan Continues to Add to his Stack

Mitch Schock limped from the button, and Matthew Kelly called from the small blind. Terrence Chan checked his option in the big blind, and the flop came down, {7-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{8-Hearts}.

Kelly checked to Chan, who tossed in a bet. Schock made the call and Kelly opted to fold.

The {3-Spades} fell on the turn and Chan bet again. Schock made the call again and the {5-Diamonds} peeled off on the river.

This time, Chan's bet got his opponent to fold.

Straight Flush for Chan

When we got to the table, the board read {a-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}.

A raising war began between Brian Tate and Feming Chan.

First Tate tossed in a bet. Then, Chan made it two bets. Tate fired back with three bets, and Chan made it four bets. Tate made the call and tabled {j-Hearts}{3-Hearts} for a flush, but it was no good against Chan's {10-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for a straight flush.

Yu Busts Bonkowski, Heads Up With Aguiar

Tyler Bonkowski raised from the small blind and was called by Ben Yu out of the big.

The flop fell {7-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} and Bonkowski got his last bet in. Yu called and the hands were opened:

Showdown
Bonkowski: {8-}{4-}
Yu: {j-}{8-}

Bonkowski was dominated and could not improve on the turn or river eliminating him from the tournament.

Yu is now heads up with Jonathan Aguiar for a final table birth.

FatalError Fills Up

Jonathan "FatalError" Aguiar and Ben Yu got three bets in before the dealer flopped {6-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{4-Spades}. Yu led out for a bet and Aguiar called.

The turn was the {6-Hearts} and Yu led again. This time Aguiar raised and Yu called.

The river was the {a-Hearts} and Yu slowed down, check-calling a bet from Aguiar.

Aguiar turned over {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for aces-full and the dealer shipped him the pot. Yu slipped to 240,000 chips and Aguiar is back in it with 120,000 to his name.
