Terrence Chan's Tournament Extended to Tomorrow

Terrence Chan - Happily Headed to Day 3
Terrence Chan - Happily Headed to Day 3

The flop read {a-Clubs}{3-Spades}{j-Hearts} and Terrence Chan slid out a bet. Matthew Kelly made it two bets. Chan upped it to three, and Kelly made the call.

The turn brought the {j-Diamonds}. Chan's bet was raised by Kelly, but like before Chan made it three bets, and like before, Kelly made the call.

The {q-Hearts} fell on the turn and this time, Kelly just called Chan's bet. Chan showed {j-Clubs}{3-Hearts} for a boat to take the pot, leaving Kelly with only one chip.

The very next hand, Kelly was all in with {8-Spades}{5-Hearts} against Chan's {q-Clubs}{3-Clubs}. The board rolled out {9-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{3-Spades}{j-Spades}{k-Diamonds} and there would be no chip and a chair story this time. Chan's pair of threes eliminated Kelly from the tournament.
