Taylor Gives Up on the River

We had the first moment of what could be considered "tanking" at this final table. Mike Schneider raised pre-flop and was three-bet by Brendan Taylor from the big blind. Schneider called to a flop of {10-Clubs}{6-Spades}{8-Diamonds}. Taylor bet and was called, then bet again when the turn paired the board {10-Diamonds}. Schneider also called that bet, taking the two players to the river. Taylor finally slowed down and checked. Schneider took that as his cue to bet. Taylor took about twenty seconds (ages in limit hold'em) before mucking his hand.
