Blanchard Sets Up

D.J. Blanchard opened with a raise to 13,000 from middle position, and it folded around to Ognjen Sekularac who called from the big blind.

The flop came {A-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{K-Spades}. Sekularac quickly checked, and Blanchard took about 15 seconds before checking as well.

The turn was the {5-Diamonds}. Sekularac checked right away again, and this time Blanchard deliberately placed out a bet of 15,500. Sekularac made the call.

The river was the {9-Diamonds}. Once more, Sekularac checked without hesitation. Blanchard bet 36,500 this time, leaving himself just about 20,000 behind. Sekularac took a good while counting out the chips to call, then did so.

Blanchard tabled {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs} for the set, and Sekularac slid his cards dealerward. Blanchard has about 155,000 now, while Sekularac slips to 245,000.
