Liebert Stays Alive

Chris Ferguson opened to 2,000 from the button and Kathy Liebert made the call to see a {10-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{8-Clubs} flop fall.

Liebert checked and Ferguson fired out 2,500 only to have Liebert make it 7,000 to go. After some deliberation, Ferguson splashed the pot with his stack of 5,000-denomination chips amounting to a raise to 42,500 to effectively put Liebert all in.

With only 22,000 remaining, Liebert made the call for her tournament life tabling her {J-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} to be in bad shape against Ferguson's {K-Hearts}{10-Spades}.

Fortunately for Liebert the turn and river ran out the {2-Clubs} and {9-Clubs} to see a flush on the board and both players taking their chips back.
