The Bear Gets There

Christopher McHugh opened with a raise from the button, and Barry Greenstein called out of the big blind to go heads up.

Both men drew two cards on the first round, and Greenstein check-called a bet. He did the same on the second round when both players drew one card, and Greenstein drew one more card on the final round. After receiving his exchange, Greenstein led out with a bet into the standing-pat McHugh who made the quick call.

Greenstein exposed {8-} {7-} {5-} {4-} {2-}, and his eighty-seven was good enough to earn him the pot and a much-needed chip boost up to about 18,000.
