Bonyadi Lost in the Forrest

Ted Forrest opened the pot with a cutoff raise, and both Farzad Bonyadi and Dan MacNamara called out of their respective small and big blinds. Three ways we go to the draws.

Each of the three players discarded two cards to start with, and the blinds check-called a follow-up bet from Forrest. On the second draw, Bonyadi and MacNamara took two cards apiece again, while Forrest drew just one and fired another bet. Bonyadi snuck in a check-raise this time, getting MacNamara out of the way. Forrest, however, quickly called.

The last draw saw Forrest pull one last card while Bonyadi stood pat and bet. Forrest called, and it was a good one; he tabled {8-} {6-} {5-} {3-} {2-}, and his opponent was unable to show up anything better.

Forrest - 133,000
Bonyadi - 45,000
