Ladies For Quinn

Quinn Do can do!
Quinn Do can do!

On a flop of {4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} with around 3,000 in the pot, Quinn Do fired out 700 and was called by an opponent before the {9-Hearts} fell on the turn.

Do pushed his last 2,250 into the pot and was called.

Do: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades}
Opponent: {J-Spades}{J-Clubs}

The river landed the meaningless {2-Spades} to see Do double though to over 10,000 in chips.

Humor Fail?

What you say?
What you say?

"Is this your first time playing sir?" John Juanda was asked by one of his fellow table combatants.

Juanda shot him a look of confusion before adding, "first time playing today, yes!"

Baxter Axed

After a raise, Billy Baxter pushed all in for his remaining 1,600 with {A-}{2-} and was called by the original raiser's pocket fives. Baxter's hand didn't improve and his attempt to add a No Limit Hold'em bracelet to his résumé has come to an end.

Parker Flush'd

Tommy Le opened to 550 from under the gun, and after the action folded round to Brock Parker in the big blind, he made it 1,550 to go.

Le sat there riffling chips before leaning over to peer at Parker's remaining 4,675 in chips before making the call to see a {A-Spades}{7-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop fall.

Parker led out for 1,550 only to have Le drop in a stack of yellow 1,000-denomination chips amounting to a raise of 6,000. Parker committed his final 3,125 and the cards were tabled.

Parker: {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}
Le: {9-Spades}{8-Spades}

The turn fell the {K-Spades} to give Le his flush but leave Parker drawing to an ace or king to improve to a full house.

Unfortunately for the multiple Bracelet winner, the river fell the {2-Spades} to see him sent to the rail as Le climbs to over 16,000 in chips.

Schoenberg Surrenders

After her table broke we unfortunately lost sight of Erica Schoenberg.

That was until she was seen vacated the tournament floor leaving an empty chair and no chips behind.

We can safely assume that she has been eliminated, and for those that are now a little sadder, here is a picture to brighten up your day.

Schleger's Kings Hold

A player in early position raised to 525 and was called by the player to his left. Shane Schleger raised to 1,900 and both players made the call.

Tha flop fell {3-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} and both players checked to Schleger, who bet 3,400. Only one of his two opponents made the call. That player checked the {7-Clubs} on the turn and Schleger pushed the rest of his chips in the pot.

The player immediately called and confidently turned up {5-Hearts}{5-Spades}. Unfortunately for him, he was far behind Schleger's {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}. The river was the {J-Hearts} and Schleger eliminated and opponent while increasing his stack to 28,000.

500 Donation?

"I'm going to have to ask everyone for a 500 [chip] donation please."

This was the question posed to the table from a player with a below average stack.

Unfortunately for him he was unable to get any takers - obviously excluding the fact that it is illegal to pass chips in a tournament!

Battle of the Blinds

Action folded around to Mark Seif who was in the small blind. He opted to raise to 550 and was called by the player in the big blind, who had about 3,300 behind.

The flop came {10-Clubs}{7-Spades}{6-Spades} and Seif checked. The big blind bet 650 and Seif made the call. Both the {5-Hearts} on the turn and {4-Spades} on the river were checked.

Seif turned over {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts} but wasn't good against the big blind's {6-Hearts}{9-Hearts}. The big blind took down the 2,400 pot while Seif took a 1,200 hit to his stack.
