Daneshgar Busts

David Daneshgar went all in from early position for his last 65,000. Action folded to Spencer Hudson in the cut off who pushed all in himself for 185,000. everyone else got out of the way and they flipped over their cards:

Hudson: {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}
Daneshgar: {K-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}

The board ran out {J-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{5-Spades} and Daneshgar was eliminated. Hudson is now sitting with a stack of about 265,000.

Wong Wins a Big One

Orlando Maldonado raised to 18,000 from middle position, and Danny Wong shoved from the small blind for 115,000. The big blind called all in for around 100,000, and Maldonado folded {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} face up. Wong was very unhappy to see those jacks as he was all in with {k-Spades}{j-Spades} against the big blind's {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}. But turns out Wong didn't need them. The deck provided him with {9-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{10-Spades}{10-Clubs}, and with his king-high flush, Wong busted the very unhappy player and moved up to 240,000.

Recent Eliminations

The last 20 minutes before the break was a bad time for the field's more recognizable players. Josh Schlein, David Daneshgar, Matt Stout, and Steve Sung all made their exits since we hit the $9,070 payout bracket at 54 players.

Down to Five Tables

There are only five tables now and we are down to 45 players. Chino Rheem has visited Phil Hellmuth at the feature table, but not as a players. Instead, Rheem and Hellmuth are talking about past bets and possible future bets.

The conversation doesn't seem to be pleasing the tournament staff however, as they've asked Hellmuth to step to the rail if he would like to continue his talk with Rheem.

Gatmaitan Gatherin Chips

Danny Wong raised to 18,000 from the cut off and was called by Jose Gatmaitan from the button.

The flop came {J-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} and Wong checked. Gatmaitan bet 28,000 and received a call. The {K-Diamonds} hit on the turn and again Wong checked. Gatmaitan moved all in for more than 300,000 and took down the pot after Wong folded.

Wong is currently sitting at 148,000 while Gatmaitan is up to 450,000.

Shahar Shut Out

Alon Shahar raised to 20,000 under the gun, and Daniel Wjuniski and William Daymon both called. The flop came {9-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts}, and Shahar open-shipped for 120,00. Wjuniski folded, and Daymon made the call. Shahar's {6-Spades}{6-Clubs} were in bad shape as Daymon's {3-Spades}{3-Hearts} had flopped a set. The {k-Clubs} turn and {5-Hearts} river didn't change anything, and Alon Shahar headed home. Daymon is up to 360,000.
