That's Howe Do It!

Erich Kollmann raised to 39,000 only to have Kevin Howe push for a total of 107,000. Kollman made the call and showed {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs} and was far ahead Howe's {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}.

The flop looked innocent enough when it came {3-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}, but the {Q-Spades} on the turn changed everything. Howe avoided disaster on the river when it came the {9-Clubs} and doubled to 228,000. Kollmann is down to 150,000.

Last Woman Eliminated

Cherie Beasley
Cherie Beasley

Cherie Beasley was seen exiting the tournament area. Another player informed us that she was all in for 120,000 with {K-}{J-} and was called by Keith Lehr's {A-}{K-}.

The board ran out ten high and Beasley was eliminated. She was the last woman remaining in the tournament and made an impressive run deep into Day 2.
