Hand #39: Michael Mizrachi

Michael Mizrachi
Michael Mizrachi

John Dolan has the button in Seat 3.

Filippo Candio raises to 1.525 million. Action folds to Michael Mizrachi in the big blind. He makes the call and we're off to a flop.

The flop comes down {K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{J-Spades}. Mizrachi is up first and checks. Candio checks behind.

The {3-Clubs} comes on fourth street and Mizrachi checks. Candio checks behind.

The {A-Hearts} falls on the river. Both players check again. Mizrachi tables the {A-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and Candio shows what looks to be a pair of nines.

Hand #38: Cheong Finds Value with a Club Flush

Joseph Cheong
Joseph Cheong

Joseph Cheong has the button in Seat 2.

Matthew Jarvis makes it 1,425,000 to go from early position. Action folds to Cheong, who is rapidly shuffling some chips with his left hand. He glances at Jarvis a few times, then re-raises to 3,525,000.

John Dolan is in the small blind and does not instantly muck. He's shuffling chips with his right hand, red baseball cap turned backwards on his head while he seems to stare into space. He cuts some chips off of his stack and calls. Jonathan Duhamel folds the big blind, bringing the action back to Jarvis. He thinks briefly before folding.

Dolan and Cheong take a flop of {9-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{10-Spades}. Dolan checks to Cheong. He checks as well, bringing the two players to the {q-Clubs} turn. Both players check again.

The river is the {j-Clubs}. Dolan checks a third time. Cheong takes a stab at the pot with a sizable bet of 8.5 million. Cheong's hands are no longer fidgeting but Dolan's are as he considers his options.

After two-and-a-half minutes of near-silence, Dolan calls. Cheong shows {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for the a club flush, the nuts. Dolan obviously can't beat that hand. We think Dolan flashed two jacks for a rivered set of jacks but we couldn't tell for certain.

In any event, Dolan is down to 24.9 million. Cheong now has 45,450,000.

Filippo Candio has the button in Seat 8.

John Racener raises to 1.4 million. Joseph Cheong makes the call from the big blind and the flop comes down {10-Spades}{3-Hearts}{3-Spades}. Cheong checks to Racener. He bets 1.7 and Cheong makes the call.

The turn card is the {4-Clubs}. Cheong checks and Racener checks.

The river card is the {K-Diamonds}. Cheong grabs and fires 2.5 million. Racener folds and the pot is pushed Cheong's way.

Hand #35: Michael Mizrachi

John Racener has the button in Seat 7. After receiving the command, "Don't walk back over here until you double up!" from Mike Matusow prior to the start of the hand, Michael Mizrachi opens from the hijack for 1.5 million. Jason Senti calls from the big blind.

The flop is full of heart, {7-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{2-Hearts}. Senti checks in front of the Grinder, who continues for 1.7 million. Senti lays down his hand, giving Mizrachi his fourth pot of the day.

Jonathan Duhamel has the button in Seat 4. Action passes to John Dolan. He raises to 1.5 million. Jonathan Duhamel and Michael Mizrachi both fold. Matthew Jarvis peeks at his cards and begins riffling chips. He decides to move all in. It's a move which draws a snap-fold from Dolan.
