Soi Nguyen, the player pegged as "the amateur" by ESPN during its broadcasts, raises to 1,175,000 from middle position. Everyone else folds, allowing Nguyen to drag his first pot of the final table.
Action folds around to Joseph Cheong in late-middle position. He raises to 1.025 million. John Dolan makes the call from the hijack seat, the next spot over. Everyone else folds.
The flop comes down and Cheong checks. Dolan fires 1.525 million and that's good enough to get a fold from Cheong.
Jonathan Duhamel opens to 1.3 million from middle position. Soi Nguyen is in the big blind and is the only player to call the raise. He and Duhamel take a flop that comes . Nguyen checks to Duhamel, who leads out for 1.6 million. Nguyen quickly folds.
