Ely Flips Up a Double

Getting 300,000 chips in the middle pre-flop is becoming the new standard now as the blinds increase. That was roughly the amount that Ted Ely was in for after Joshua Norris opened with a raise. Norris called with {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds} and was in a race against Ely's {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}. Ely paired queens on the flop, {q-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs} to double up to 590,000. Norris now is on the short stack with 100,000.
