Bourne Supremacy

Brock Bourne was all the way to the turn against his lone opponent, Kristijonas Andrulis. Bourne checked to Andrulis, who put a bet of 125,000 into the pot. Bourne then check-raised to 375,000. He was pot-committed to call a shove from Andrulis for 500,000. The showdown revealed that Andrulis had {a-Spades}{a-Hearts} for aces and eights -- possibly a bad omen against Bourne's {10-Hearts}{9-Spades}. Sure enough, an Andrulis-killing {j-Hearts} appeared on the river to fill Bourne's straight and terminate Andrulis' tournament life.

Bourne now has about 1.8 million in chps.
