Skender Sent Home

Michael Skender
Michael Skender

Boom, boom, boom. The bustouts keep coming.

Michael Skender, who'd chipped back up over 2 million over the last half-hour of so after being down to little better than fumes, was sitting with about 1.8 million in front of him when he opened for a minimum-raise to 200,000 from middle position. Jason Senti then three-bet to 505,000, and when it folded back to Skender he pushed all in. Senti made the call.

Skender {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}
Senti {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}

The flop was good for Skender -- {Q-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{3-Hearts} -- giving him the better pair. The turn was the {3-Diamonds}. So far so good for Skender. Then came the river (boom) -- the {9-Diamonds}, giving Senti a full house and sending Skender out in 31st place ($255,242).

Senti has 13.25 million now.
