Duke Donates Down Under

Annie Duke raised to 2,200 from early position, and both Joe Hachem and big blind Antonio Esfandiari called. Esfandiari checked the {k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop, and Duke c-bet 4,300. Hachem made the call while Antonio declined to put anymore chips into the middle. Duke checked the {q-Hearts} turn, and Hachem checked behind. Same action on the {7-Diamonds} river, and Hachem turned over {j-Spades}{10-Spades} for third pair. That was good enough to move up to 56,000. Duke slipped to 25,000 and the position of table short stack.
