First Hand Fireworks

Level 11 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

We've already seen aces cracked on the first hand of the day for Table #348 in Amazon Purple.

We missed the action preflop, but came in when all the chips were in the middle. Kevin Kung was all in for 31,900 with {A-}{A-}, and he was called by Marc Blais with {J-}{J-}.

The board ran out {K-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{A-Diamonds}, giving Blais the straight on the river with the {A-Diamonds}. Kung, obviously shocked, realized he was covered and walked out of the Amazon Room slowly with his jaw dropped.

Blais is now up to 72,000 and is running hot to start Day 2.
