Vamplew Picks Off Spinella

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

David Vamplew is increasing his chip lead even further, now out to 2.56 million after taking another pot off Anthony Spinella.

Vamplew raised to 43,000 from the button and Michael Spinella called from the big blind to go heads-up to a flop that read {7-Spades}{8-Spades}{3-Clubs}. Spinella check-called both Vamplew's bets of 59,000 after the flop and of 133,000 after the turn of the {4-Diamonds}.

Spinella then checked to Vamplew again on the river of the {10-Hearts}; this prompted Vamplew to announce that he was all-in.

"Sigh. Nice play," Spinella muttered before throwing his hand away. Spinella is down to 585,000.
