Back to the Grind

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Despite all his hard luck, Eddie Blumenthal has composed himself and is back to work chipping away at Geffrey Klein's stack as this heads-up battle continues.

Klein completed from the button and Blumenthal checked from the big blind before check-calling Klein's bet of 100,000 after the flop of {K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}. Both players then checked the turn of the {5-Clubs} before Blumenthal led out for 150,000 on the river of the {9-Spades}. Klein was having none of it and kicked his hand into the muck.

In the next hand, Blumenthal raised to 155,000 from the button and Klein called, only to check-fold after Blumenthal led out for 160,000 after the flop of {7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}. The button switched back to Klein and this time he elected to complete from the button, only to see Blumenthal raise to 160,000 from the big blind.

Klein called, but then folded after Blumenthal fired out 155,000 on the flop of {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{4-Clubs}. Looks like we're burning the midnight oil tonight!
