Kelly is the Million Chip Kid

Level 1 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Dan Kelly
Dan Kelly

I don't know but maybe someone put something in the water today because these players are not playing as slowly as we expected. Dan Kelly opened to 12,000 preflop with Erik Cajelais and Lars Bonding both making the call to see a {J-Clubs}{9-Spades}{2-Spades} flop.

It was checked to Kelly who bet 42,000, Cajelais folded but Bonding check-raised to 109,000 only for Kelly to then move all in for a total of 509,000. Bonding shrugged and called.

Kelly: {Q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Bonding: {J-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}

The {10-Diamonds} gave Kelly additional outs, now any king, queen, ten or eight would allow him to double up, any other card would spell his doom. The {K-Hearts} hit the river much to Bonding's disappointment and Kelly moved into the chip lead, Bonding has around 120,000 remaining.

Bonding Doubles Through Robinson

Level 1 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Lars Bonding, who was just crippled by Dan Kelly, has life again after a double-up against David Robinson.

We didn't see the action, but Bonding had {A-Clubs}{3-Spades} and Robinson had {Q-}{Q-}. An ace on the baord was enough to double him up to about 320,000. Robinson on the other hand is left with under 200,000

Eric Yates Eliminated In 15th Place ($16,407)

Level 1 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Eric Yates
Eric Yates

On the button, Eric Yates raised the pot to 20,000 preflop. Andrew pantling in the small blind re-raised to 54,000 and Yates called.

The flop was {5-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and Pantling bet 55,000. Yates reluctantly splashed the pot with his call.

The turn came {3-Hearts} and Pantling bet 101,000. After a little thinking, Yates moved all in for about 200,000 more and Pantling called. Yates showed {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} and Pantling had {9-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for a flopped flush. The river was a {4-Hearts} and Yates was eliminated.

Pantling moves up to around 950,000 and is challenging Dan Kelly for the chip lead.

Cajelais Coming Back

Level 2 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Erik Cajelais was down to 85,000 at one point but has managed to make a significant comeback after he check-raised Lars Bonding off a flop of {A-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{4-Hearts}, raising the Danish player's 23,000 continuation bet to 60,000, forcing the latter to fold.

Badecker Doubles through Pantling

We came in on a flop of {J-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{9-Clubs}

Andrew Badecker bet 28,000 on the flop, Andrew Pantling called and Vitaly Lunkin folded.

The turn was a {2-Hearts} Badecker checked, Pantling bet 50,000 and Badecker called.

The river was the {Q-Diamonds} and again Badecker checked but this time Pantling went all in. Badecker had about 324,000 behind so he took his time with the decision but eventually called showing {Q-Hearts}{10-Hearts} to the {3-Hearts}{4-Hearts} of Pantling; flush over flush.

After the hand, Pantling is back down to around 500,000 while Badecker has moved up to 850,000

David Robinson
David Robinson

Dan Kelly raised to 18,000 and David Robinson moved all in from the small blind for 185,000. Lars Bonding in the big blind asked for a count and then made the call, Kelly quickly folded.

Robinson: {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}
Bonding: {K-Clubs}{K-Spades}

The board came {8-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{8-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{5-Spades} and Robinson fell to the Dane who is mounting a remarkable comeback.
