Bonkowski Back Towards the Top

Level 21 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Tyler Bonkowski lost a few hands to start the table that briefly had him as one of the short stacks, but he has fought his way back up to second place after this big hand. Ron Burke raised, and Mitch Schock put in three bets in the cutoff. Bonkowski called in the big blind, as did Burke, and the three took a flop of {a-Spades}{7-Clubs}{6-Hearts}. Bonkowski and Burke checked, and Schock bet. Bonkowski raised, and Burke then reraised. Schock reluctantly folded, and Bonkowski put in another bet. Burke called, and then call bets on the turn and the river, which came the {10-Hearts} and {9-Clubs}. Bonkowski showed {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds} for a flopped set, and Burke mucked, dropping to 70,000, while Bonkowski jumped up to 475,000.
