Somerville Out

Level 2

Stud-8:

Player 1: (X)(X) - {2-Hearts}
Jason Somerville: (X)(X) - {8-Clubs}{2-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{4-Spades} - (X)
Player 3: (X)(X) - {5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{A-Hearts} - (X)
Player 4: (X)(X) {Q-Clubs}{5-}{3-Spades}{Q-Spades} - (X)

After the player with the {2-Hearts} brought in, Jason Somerville completed the bet. The next player raised, the fourth player called, the bring in folded and then Somerville called.

On fourth street, a lot of betting and raising happened to get the action capped. The player in the middle, Player 3, never raised, he just kept calling while Somerville and Player 4 raised and reraised the action. On fifth street, everyone checked and then on sixth street, the player with a pair of queens up bet and both her opponents called.

After seventh street, the woman with two queens bet, Somerville raised, the player in the middle called and then the lady called. Somerville turned over the {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} from his hand for eights full of fours. The player in the middle mucked and then the woman who had two queens on board showed the {Q-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} from her down cards to reveal queens full of threes. She won the pot and knocked Somerville all the way down to just 250 in chips. Shortly thereafter, Somerville was eliminated from the tournament.
