"Minneapolis" Jim Meehan Making Moves

Level 2

Former WSOP bracelet winner "Minneapolis" Jim Meehan was spotted engaging in quite a colorful conversation with fellow players and a floorman. Apparently, Meehan wanted to know whether "cold cocking another guy at the table" would mean sitting out a round, or would result merely in a one hand penalty. The question pertained to a previous tournament and Meehan's tablemates today were obviously enjoying the banter.

As far as the action on the felt is concerned, Meehan is holding his own there as well. We watched as Minneapolis Jim bet on every round during a hand of Omaha-8 with the board reading {6-Spades}{10-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}. Meehan forced his opponents to fold by the river, but tabled {8-Hearts}{9-Clubs} for a rivered straight to take the pot uncontested.
