Pezzin Grabs Three-Quarters

Level 4

Omaha-8:

On the flop of {10-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{3-Hearts}, the first player checked and the next player bet before Team PokerStars Pro Canada member Pat Pezzin put in a raise. The first player folded, but the original bettor called.

The turn was the {5-Diamonds} and both players checked to see the {4-Hearts} fall on the river. The first player checked and Pezzin bet. His opponent called.

Pezzin showed the {A-Hearts}{8-Spades}{7-Clubs}{6-Hearts} for the nut flush and a low. His opponent showed the {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{4-Spades} to lose the high, but he was able to produce the same low and chop that half of the pot. That meant Pezzin scooped three-quarters of this pot and has moved to 5,900 in chips.
