Shchemelev Gets Pinkussohn-ed

On a flop of {2-Hearts}{A-Spades}{7-Spades} Jay Pinkussohn checked in the small blind and allowed Vladimir Shchemelev to bet in the big. Pinkussohn made the call and then checked the {Q-Hearts} turn. Shchemelev bet yet again, but this time Pinkussohn check-raised. Back and forth it went until Shchemelev was all in and at risk.

Shchemelev: {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades}
Pinkussohn: {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}

Shchemelev had two pair but was still behind the set of Pinkussohn. In order to survive, Shchemelev needed to catch either an ace or queen on the river. Unfortunately for him, the {10-Hearts} peeled off. Shchemelev was eliminated from the tournament in 33rd place ($4,743).
